Working out a price for your specific project
Like any project it starts with an enquiry. Once you get in touch with us, one of our master craftsmen will speak to you about your requirements. We will find out what kind of project you would like us to help you with, we will discuss wood types, size and other specific requirements. We will also arrange a convenient time and date for a property visit in order to acquire correct measurements and other details about the project such as positioning, elevation, and angles to the property.
Once the property visit has been completed North West Gates will provide you with a detailed quotation and will discuss times and dates for the project to start. (all quotes are no obligation and free of charge)
Designing your unique Gates, Garage Doors or Fence Panels
After discussing the aesthetics and shape you require for your new project, we use traditional methods to design the perfect product for your property. We select the high quality hardwood and get to work drawing, measuring and cutting out the components that will be joined together to create your new gate, door or fence panels.
Each component is vigorously tested and inspected for quality, durability and imperfections. Once each component has passed our quality control tests we move onto build prep, this is where each component is sanded and planed to perfection, smoothing out rough surfaces and removing any unneeded excess wood making sure that each component fits together perfectly.
How we make your Gates. Garage Doors and Fence Panels
Our skilled master craftsmen will make your order from start to finish using traditional time proven methods of carpentry and joinery. We use a combination of wood work machinery as well as the latest tools. All our products are hand finished and we take a real pride in our work.
Our products are built to last using mortise and tenon joints. We use good quality hardwood timber and materials to ensure the best finish.
No two gates will ever be exactly the same as our products are bespoke made, to your exact sizes.
Delivering / Fitting your finished product
We offer a full fitting service throughout the North West. This includes Posts, Automation, Gate Fittings and Accessories (as required).
If you are not in the North West we can deliver your new gates, garage doors or fence panels anywhere in the UK allowing you to have a local tradesman fit them for you.
